Fireflies and Moonlight

If a moment can be cherished, it can exist for more than just a moment. If eyes are willing to see, they can see beyond the limits of reality. For a heart yearning for a moment long gone but open to the possibilities of the future, anything is possible, and for Miguel, this is the night that will change his future, amend the past, and allow the present to stretch out well beyond one night beneath the fireflies and the moonlight.

This story feels like the closest thing to poetry that I've written. It is not of this Earth, but another world where time is not so regimented, where color and emotion can live all around us in the hope of what the imagination can create.
