Hard Mode was the result of the original game mechanics being too punishing for most. So at the last hour we change it so checkpoints were added.
Ultra Hard Mode also has no checkpoints but you must get all the dust bunnies, find the coin and ONLY then will the exit open. Pretty Brutal!
