'I wonder how long he'll last before finally getting serious...' I mused, my grin widening as I dived toward the admiral dodging the countless ice spear flying at me while brandishing my Malorian Arms and shooting a hail of bullets, which he blocked, avoided, or shrugged off, like it was nothing. 

I reached the admiral and swung my blade, meeting his Ice saber. He punched at me, and I activated my flame thrower in his face before flying away to dodge. 

I had Aokiji beat when it came to speed, swordsmanship, and how many tricks I had, but he had an overwhelming advantage in pure physical power and most likely haki, even though he showed little of that so far.

'Better yet... I wonder how long I could last when he gets serious...' I took a deep breath as I flared my flaming aura, floating in the air as I began releasing from my prosthetic left hand. 

I was under no illusion I could win this fight, not even with my ability to counter Aokiji's devil fruit with my flame and my advantage in speed and maneuverability. 

It would be haki that determines the battle's outcome, and I was barely a rookie in that department compared to the admiral who had been fighting and beating people with haki for more than two decades.

I still intended to give him a run for his money, though. 

I raised my hand and let the flames coalesce into a sphere above my head. Aokiji, of course, didn't stand still and watch me prepare my attack as he launched a hail of ice projectiles in my direction, but they melted and turned to steam before reaching me. 

I raised both of my hands, engulfing the flame sphere as it grew two times my size, activating my devil fruit and wrapping it with a barrier of condensed air. 

I compressed the flame, causing it to shrink until it became small enough to hold in one hand, and grinned as I turned to the admiral, giving him a challenging look. 

"The power of the sun, in the palm of my hand..." I said as I pointed my hand holding the condemned flame sphere toward the admiral, then dived at him with my fastest speed, laughing like a maniac at the reference the admiral clearly didn't understand. 

Aokiji didn't say anything as he prepared to meet my charge head-on, lowering his posture and creating two ice spears, which he imbued with haki, causing them to turn black. 

"Black Ice Spear..." Aokiji remarked, stabbing at me as I finally reached him, unmindful of the searing heat that melted all ice in the area save for the admiral's two weapons.

"Nova Core..." I named my attack on the spot for the dramatic effect, then canceled the air barrier, allowing the mini flame sphere to expand explosively, dying my vision orange as I felt a searing heat that overcame even my elemental resistance. 

I immediately activated my phasing ability, but I wasn't quick enough, and Aokiji managed to graze my shoulder with one of his Black Ice Spears as I flew away to steer clear of harm's way. 

I waited for the explosion's force to dissipate after it the area into a gigantic crater, demolishing even the park's famous Ferris wheel and burning everything in its range to ashes. 

But even that wasn't enough to kill Aokiji, causing me to frown as I watched him reform his body. The admiral's clothes were in tatters, and he had several burn marks over his body, but he still stood tall, albeit with a frowning expression this time.

"Arara... now you've gone and ruined my good suit," Aokiji remarked in annoyance as he shrugged off his tattered admiral coat, looking at me like some troublesome nuisance.

"Why couldn't they send Kizaru or something...?" the admiral said, lazily scratching his head as he sighed. "This is so troublesome, but it has gone long enough..." he added with a resigned expression, beckoning me to come at him with his hand.

"Fucking finally!" I exclaimed as I charged toward the admiral, flying with Triton in my hand, as I mustered as much haki as I could and imbued it into the blade.

Aokiji didn't bother to create an ice blade this time and merely punched at me with his bare hand, and I could feel his armament haki flaring like never before since the fight started. 

I moved to the side to dodge the punch and barely avoided the hit by an inch. However, I still felt something hit me in the shoulder as the admiral's fist passed by my head, stopping me in my track. 

It was so powerful; I felt myself losing conscience for a second, and that was all the time Aokiji needed to create an ice blade and swing at my head, intending to bisect me in half.

My eyes widened, and I immediately activated my berserker mod, the increase in speed allowing me to dodge to the side, but his attack still connected with my shoulder again. 

There was a feeling of warmth, and I felt weirdly light on my right side. I turned to the side and watched my good arm flying in the air, spraying blood everywhere. 

The realization and pain simultaneously hit me, but I didn't let it overcome me as I caught my arm and flew away while gritting my teeth to avoid crying out in pain.

"It should be obvious by now..." Aokiji calmly remarked as he watched me float in the air, holding my severed arm. "Do yourself a favor and surrender while I'm still willing to take you in alive," he concluded, shrugging his shoulders. 

"Is that so...?" I asked as I put my severed arm back into my shoulder, wincing as my oni vitality went to work, attaching it right back in place and giving me an itchy sensation. 

"As tempting as the offer is, I'll have to refuse," I added as I raised my now-reattached arm, opening and closing the palm to see if it still worked properly. 

"Only way you're beating me is if you kill me," I concluded after stretching my arm and moving it around. I took a deep breath and charged right back at the admiral. 

"If you insist..." Aokiji remarked with a sigh as he prepared to meet my charge with a clenched fist, and I grinned as I finally reached him, stopping a distance away and taking the Dyna Stone out of my inventory.

"That is...!" Aokiji exclaimed, his eyes widening, but I didn't let him continue as I crushed the Dyna stone container.
