One Piece: Killer Method #201

Cedric's instincts, honed by his experiences as a pirate, kicked in as soon as Satori was sent hurtling through the air. His Observation Haki surged to life, warning him of impending danger.

In an instant, he reacted, his lithe form blurring with incredible speed as he employed Soru. He materialized in front of the Shandian warriors just in the nick of time, positioning himself as a barrier between them and the looming threat.

With a resolute expression, Cedric braced himself, his body a bastion against the peril that descended upon them. The two bolts of lightning, twirling with lethal intent, crackled and surged toward the group with blinding speed.

The impact was electrifying in every sense of the word. Lightning arced and danced across his form, electricity surging through his body as he absorbed the potentially lethal strike. Pain coursed through him, but he gritted his teeth and held firm, steadfast in his determination to protect those behind him.

As the lightning coursed through his being, Cedric focused his willpower, redirecting the deadly bolts toward the ground with a controlled discharge. The electrical energy found its path to the earth, grounding itself in a dramatic display of sparks and thunderous reverberations.

Once the immediate danger had passed, Cedric glanced upward, his eyes sharp and alert. Hovering in the air above them was a man of imposing stature, a being who seemed almost ethereal amidst the chaotic scene. This newcomer possessed an air of serene confidence, his tall frame commanding attention.

The man's pale complexion contrasted with the inky darkness of the night, while his well-toned yet somewhat wiry physique hinted at a latent strength. His face, framed by a cascade of blond hair, bore a perpetually relaxed, half-lidded expression, accentuated by a calm and confident smile.

The enigmatic man who introduced himself as Enel gazed down upon Cedric and the others with a self-assured smirk. His golden eyes gleamed with an eerie intensity, and a triumphant air surrounded him. With a casual gesture, he raised his hand, and it crackled with the brilliant, menacing light of electricity, a testament to his mastery over the element.

"Not bad," Enel remarked, his voice carrying a hint of amusement. His gaze remained fixed upon Cedric as if assessing the pirate's worthiness. "It seems that you are no ordinary human..." he mused, acknowledging Cedric's display of power and skill.

The electrical energy coursing through Enel's hand seemed to intensify, hinting at an imminent strike. His smirk widened, revealing a hint of predatory delight. "But if you are here to fight me, you're destined to fail..." he declared, his voice resonating with an eerie confidence.

The tension in the air grew palpable as Enel prepared to unleash another potentially devastating attack. Cedric merely crossed his arms and smiled while his companions braced themselves for what might come next, ready to face this enigmatic and formidable foe.

However, in a sudden and unexpected turn of events, Enel's attention shifted. He tilted his head toward the night sky as if detecting something that had escaped the notice of those below. His expression shifted, betraying a hint of curiosity and intrigue.

"Consider this your lucky day," Enel spoke, his tone taking on a peculiar mixture of annoyance and amusement. With a deliberate lowering of his electrified hand, he abandoned his offensive stance, leaving the group baffled. "You get to live another few hours..."

Enel's cryptic words hung in the air, leaving unanswered questions in their wake. It was as if a greater concern had demanded his attention, one that superseded the battle at hand.

"There's an audacious animal I need to tend to..." Enel explained, his voice trailing off with a sense of urgency. And with that enigmatic statement, he vanished into a bolt of lightning.

The aftermath of Enel's electrifying attack left Cedric with a smoldering aura, smoke rising from his body like ethereal tendrils. Despite the evident damage, he remained surprisingly composed, a confident grin playing upon his lips.

Kieran, ever the calm and collected one, approached Cedric with concern etched upon his features. "You okay?" he inquired, his voice steady as he surveyed the aftermath of the electric onslaught.

Cedric's response was delivered with an air of nonchalance that belied the severity of the situation. "That attack fried some of my insides," he admitted casually as if discussing a minor inconvenience. He bore no trace of panic or fear. "Still, it's better that I got a taste of his power now," he continued, his tone reflecting a pragmatic outlook.

"I'll heal soon enough, and the next time, I'll be able to channel the electricity into the ground without suffering any damage..." Cedric concluded with a nonchalant shrug as if discussing the weather.

Gan Fall and the Shandian warriors observed the exchange, their expressions ranging from concern to confusion. The concept of a person willingly subjecting themselves to such harm was alien to them.

In Wyper's eyes, there was a begrudging hint of respect and gratitude at how Cedric had swiftly reacted to protect his comrades and still emerged alive. It was a testament to his unwavering dedication to the safety of his people.

"That was a lightning logia power, no?" Kieran, thoughtful as ever, considered the situation and Cedric's words. "It's definitely terrifying, but that Enel guy doesn't seem so impressive after all..." he mused, his voice tinged with a hint of skepticism.

Cedric's assessment of the situation was as calm and collected as ever. He acknowledged the sheer terror of the attack they had just faced, understanding that for anyone else, it could have meant certain death.

"It's terrifying alright. Almost anyone else would be dead if they took that attack..." Cedric commented, his tone steady and composed. He held a deep understanding of the danger they had narrowly escaped.

However, he wasted no time in downplaying their formidable foe. "But yeah, Enel's got nothing going on apart from the lightning fruit and his Observation Haki," Cedric added, his head shaking in a somewhat dismissive manner.

With their encounter behind them, Cedric shifted his focus toward their continued journey. He turned his gaze toward the depths of the forest, a grin playing on his lips.

"Anyway, let's get going..." he suggested, his words filled with determination. "Do me a favor and take the lead. I'll need some time to heal," he requested, acknowledging the necessity of a brief respite.

Kieran nodded in understanding, his gaze steady as he took on the role of their pathfinder, leading the group to the next ordeal.

...

High above, towering over the surreal landscape of Upper Yard, stood Giant Jack—a colossal beanstalk that reached towards the heavens. Its immense form dominated the sky, extending from the ground far below into the very heart of the Upper Ruins.

As the beanstalk continued its ascent, it penetrated the remnants of the once-great city of Shandora, weaving its way through the ruins of a bygone era. At its zenith, it culminated at the fabled Golden Belfry of Shandia.

Enel, the self-proclaimed deity of the skies, floated serenely in the air near Giant Jack, an air of arrogance and power surrounding him. His keen Observation Haki allowed him to eavesdrop on the conversations of those far below, including the voices of the humans he deemed beneath him.

"Talk all you want, humans... I'll put you in your place soon enough..." he muttered, a mocking smirk on his lips. His presence exuded an air of superiority, his godly powers rendering him almost untouchable.

Yet, even as he monitored the mortals below, his attention shifted to a different spectacle—a massive serpent named Nola. This ancient creature, one of the oldest inhabitants of Upper Yard, coiled around Giant Jack in its relentless attempt to scale the colossal beanstalk.

Nola's quest was clear—to reach the Golden Belfry of Shandia, a place of immense significance. However, Enel, in his divine capriciousness, would not allow it. With a flicker of his divine power, he summoned a searing bolt of lightning that lanced through the sky and struck the colossal serpent.

"Begone, foolish beast!" Enel commanded, his voice ringing with authority. The bolt of lightning struck Nola with devastating force, forcing the ancient serpent to retreat, its serpentine form writhing in pain and frustration.

It had faced this divine retribution many times before, each attempt to ascend Giant Jack met with the wrath of the self-proclaimed god.

Enel is the very definition of a glass cannon. he has insane firepower and high speed but once caught he'll break like glass from an attack not to mention a mythical zoan armament enhanced punch
