The future of the Discord server
Added 2022-05-05 00:33:30 +0000 UTCMy discord server has kind of become a bloated mess and I can't keep track of who is still active, who has stopped being a patron etc. What I should have done in the first place was integrate Patreon and Discord together. I'd like to do that now, but the issue I've run into is that I would need to set up tiers and have Discord listed as a benefit of one of the tiers in order for it to work.
What that would mean is that were I to do this, everyone would have to jump onto a tier if they wanted to have a "patron" role on Discord. It would be easier for me to limit access to some content because it would be synced up with Patreon. As of right now though, I'm feeling kind of overwhelmed with the Discord server I have as it currently is and I'd like to either delete it complete and start from scratch, or fix it up so it's easier to see who is who.
So my question is, if I were to set up a low-priced tier in order to sync Patreon and Discord up together, would you move onto that tier?
