Game of Thrones fans have had like 10 years to pour over these episodes and read the books and go to our sewing circles and gossip about characters and plot lines lmao. A lot of things will make more sense by the end of the first season. And highkeeey be careful about reading comments, there are dick heads that will absolutely spoil things.

In the north it’s Snow, we’ll meet other people with the last name Snow. In the south it’s Sand, in the River Lands it’s River, etc. otherwise, in marriage, they do take the dad’s last name.

There is one king Robert, and a bunch of Lords (heads of top families) - The Lannisters are Cercei (queen), Jamie (prince charming), and Tyrion (short guy), and apparently a stern Father ("Lannisters dont act like fools") - The King is Robert Baratheon ("in the name of Robert of the House Baratheon" - Jon Aryn (the dead guy with the rock eyes), was "Like a father" to Ned, Catlyn's sister (Lysa) is married to Jon Aryn and they have a son. - Dany (Khaleesi) has been riding a horse all day and being riden by one all night, she sore. - The National Geographic Guy (Jorah Moremont) fled the North (Ned Stark was his liege lord) because he sold slaves
