2025-09-05 12:35:30 +0000 UTCPretty sure Will is talking about Vecna at the end. it’s not fully explained yet but I think when One found the Mind Flayer / Hive Mind in the Upside Down, he took control of it. so everyone used the think the consciousness controlling the creatures from the Upside Down was the Mind Flayer / Particles. but actually it’s been Vecna controlling everything since before the show started.

2025-06-10 20:42:55 +0000 UTCThe love/hate theme for El’s power comes up a few times. S2 when 8 tells El to think of something that makes her angry. And again in s4 when VH1 tells El the same. (Gotta wonder if that is why papa let 8 go…she was too susceptible to 001). El realizes each time though to lean on love. In s2 at the end when she floats, she’s thinking of her mother. S3 without her powers, she uses Billy’s love for his mother. And in s4, in the past we can see that when she overpowers Henry, she’s so young and the only memory of love she can find is basically her birth when her mother says she loves her. Love is a huge part of her power source and I have a feeling in s5, vecna is going to do everything he can to drain her of that to render her vulnerable. Oh and the sword came from when the prisoners races to get weapons to fight the demigorgon.

Athletes respect other sports, do t shoot at their equipment. Find some cans and bottles man. Now I’m not upset in the least that you got ripped in half!

2025-06-08 13:39:10 +0000 UTCThe writing is so good. They really set it up like Harrington is going to die. Eddie went out like a legend. Max? No idea. Jason got literally ripped in half at the end. I noticed when you started watching season 4, after the basketball party when Lucas was hungover and puking…. Jason says to Lucas something like “hangovers can really rip you in two” or something like that. Awesome foreshadowing that you can only see on a second watch!
