Also thank you for clocking Gales jealousy!! In the books its clear thay he never really expressed romantic interest in katniss until peeta did during the games. They were truly just hunting buddies. Everyone assumed theyd get married cus of their closeness but katniss was never thinking about him in that way. To play off their closeness to the capitol citizens, they said gale was katniss' cousin. The films added in a lot of additional galexkatniss kisses that werent in the books to give the illusuon of a love triangle for marketing purposes. Small change that really bothers some book/peet lovers (me!). They cut a lot of peetas moments with katniss for it.

They are rebels, traitors, deserters or criminals that chose to have their tongues cut out and live a life of servitude over execution. First Quarter Quell, 25 years: Tributes were voted into the Games by their districts, highlighting the idea of distrust within the districts. Second Quarter Quell, 50 years: There were twice the usual number of tributes, with two boys and two girls from each district, 48 total tributes.

The aspect ratio stays in this size the rest of the time shes in the areana. One of the small details i love so much about this film/series
