Plans for Patreon

Hey guys! Welcome to the hot hot month of July!

I've been looking at my Patreon for a few months now and feeling that I need to adjust and tweak a few things. I know that in the past, my reliability in uploading content regularly has been a problem, and I'd like to step up and do better. Currently, I'm working on my college thesis, which will (hopefully) be completed August 22nd. After that, I have some plans for Patreon and how I want to use it!

First of all, I will complete and post the first chapter of Fresno. This will be done no matter what, and work on the future pages is going strong (it's my thesis, so there's that!)

Second, I want to work on my werewolf comic SO BAD. For those of you that are here because of Kiss the Rain/Diving for Pearls, I want this comic to go back to my original storytelling roots and build a new romance story. I haven't been able to create the content I truly love doing (romance/relationship!) since entering graduate school, and I'm so ready and excited to work on it again!

So what would Patreon become then? Hopefully, I'd use Patreon as a way to host my comic early (yes, sadly, behind a paywall) so that I can dedicate my time less to commission work and more to the comic. My plan is to upload at least a week early on Patreon as a reward for everyone who supports me. I also want to include behind the scenes, sketches, possible background character slots and private livestreams as I work on it.

So what about existing rewards? Right now my patreon is essentially a colored-sketch-commission hub, where my gold tiers get a guaranteed commission a month, but... I'm going to start phasing this out. I understand that this is a big blow, but I consider most of the gold tier supporters to be peers and friends. Please know, that as a gold tier, if you ever want a commission piece, you can reach out to me and I'll make room for you! But doing monthly commission pieces isn't exactly what I want to accomplish with my patreon anymore. I'll be quitting this service in SEPTEMBER, so there's two more month for these rewards. This will mean that after my thesis is completed I can throw myself fully into other commissions or the werewolf comic to pick up the slack.

I know this is a lot to read, a lot of changes, and I understand that some of you will want to stop supporting because the rewards are changing, and I 100% understand that~ It's true, I'd love to be able to live off my patreon, but my true wish is to create content and rewards for you, my viewers and friends, and I'm so grateful that I've had some of y'all's support for literally years. You mean the world to me, and I thank you so much for everything.

Please note: No changes will be made until September! But afterwards, a complete overhaul will occur. I will post plenty of warning before those changes take place. <3
