Thank you for October!

Wow, what a CRAZY month. This was one of the busiest, most amazing, most EVENTFUL months I've had in a long time. 

The long story short is that my boyfriend was planning to go to Rome, Italy for his cousin's wedding and last minute I was extended an invite to come along! So of course I dropped everything and slammed that booking button for a flight. It was an amazing opportunity and, not gonna lie, I'm still grumpy I had to come back! Immediately upon returning I caught Covid so I had to spend a week recovering from that. Luckily, I have all my boosters and work from home anyway so other than the annoying loss of smell and taste (thank god, that was temporary) I managed to get through it relatively smoothly.

I'm disappointed because I was really excited to do Kinktober but I suppose I don't have to fit it all into one month, right? Kinktober can be all year round if you want it to be. I'm still hustling a lot to work but I'm finally at least caught up with the backlog that the impromptu vacation + covid caused. Thank you everyone for your patience with me and my sparse communication while all that IRL stuff was going on.

Which brings me to my next big news: November 29th is my Top Surgery date!

Yeah, it's finally happening. I'm getting the big teet yeet! :D I already have the surgery money saved but I'm still picking away at a fund for bills while I'm recovering and possibly some clothes afterwards that will actually fit. If you'd like to help contribute to that, my Ko-Fi is always open~ Mostly, I appreciate well-wishes and words of encouragement. This is a huge step for me and is the last step for me to feel comfortable in my body but I'm still a little nervous. Luckily, I have a great support network and some amazing people in my life now and I feel as ready as I'm ever gonna be! I'll likely be completely absent from work for at LEAST a week but hopefully I can get back to drawing as soon as I can. I know I'll be bored as hell and I lack the ability to sit still and do nothing. :') But I really don't know how my drawing will be impacted because I'm going to have difficulty lifting my arms for a bit. You might be seeing more traditional doodles as I just sit around scribbling in my sketchbook. Something to look forward to, right? 

Other, Other news: Rebranding 

Is it that time again already? Yeah, I know, every few years I seem to do this but I really wasn't vibing with Lewdbeans anymore. I don't remember why I chose the username and it didn't really feel like it fit my brand? So Mustache Mutt is going to be my moniker going forward! It's a big process rebranding everywhere and I'm trying to chip away at it as I go. The next big step is to finally make a website! I'm brainstorming ways to make things like my prices, gallery and TOS all consolidated in a single site. Luckily, my boyfriend is a web developer so he can keep me from overcomplicating things. I'll drop more info on that as it goes along!

Well, that's about all the news I have to share! It's been a crazy month and I'm still catching up on some of my obligations. It's a little exhausting knowing that I have so little time before the next big hurdle but I'll at least be a little more prepared.
