Move Complete!
Added 2023-02-26 21:29:29 +0000 UTCHi everyone, thank you so much for your patience over the last month. I'm glad to announce that I'm more or less completely moved and back to working on art! And boy howdy, I'm so very glad that things are settling down. I've missed drawing :')
Right now we're still trying to get the myriad of tiny things completed. Stuff like cleaning the previous tenants' mess, replacing a light fixture that we bonked our heads on a total of 142 times since starting this journey and painting over the god-awful yellow someone thought was a good color for a ceiling. On top of that, it's planting season! And I've been racing against time to get bulbs in the ground and lift the metric ton of pine straw the previous tenants let build up for almost three years. Oi vey.
That being said, we love our new place~ Moving in with my bf has given us both a lot more energy, structure, accountability and, most importantly, support and love. I'm looking forward to creating a home where we can both create and grow. ;u;
So what's next?
Honestly, I need to keep working on commissions like the devil is on my heels. Moving is expensive and tax season is upon us so I'll be doing a lot of work to make up the difference. But! I also want to work on personal stuff and patreon content. As the long laundry list of stuff we need to get done on the new house shrinks, hopefully the more time I can put toward art again. I miss it terribly, so I'll be doing my best to get back in the saddle.
In the meantime, I just want to thank you again for remaining a supporter, even in these dry days of little content. It's my goal to make up for that drought and continue doing what makes me and (hopefully) y'all happy! For now, cheers and be well!
