Hot magma bubbles, lapping at the edge of rocks which have long refused to  melt, thanks to the ancient magics protecting this site. Despite the  powerful  spell, however, large sections of rock have given away to time and heat  both; leaving the ground pockmarked and deadly for adventurers to  traverse… 

 Adventure Seeds  

•   Dwarves have paid you to accompany them to the throne site of an ancient ruin their ancestors built, in search of treasure which their leader claims to have seen in his dreams. But one of the dwarves is secretly a member of a religion passed down from  those who built the city, and the site keeps an ancient evil caged. In fear of exposing herself and her secret society, upon arrival she will attempt to summon a fire wyrm to kill everyone before the evil is released. 

• Two village children have requested your help, claiming that their mother  has disappeared and they can hear her speak to her in their dreams—and  the village leader has paid you to go  with them as guards, and see what they can find. The children lead you  to this ancient volcanic throne, but when you arrive it’s clear that  whatever it is speaking to the children, it isn’t their mother. Will  your party let them frantically run around, pressing ancient ruins and saying words impossible for one their age to know?  What would you do if a seductive, feminine voice promises great power and wealth if you but stand back, and let the children release her? 

• An archaeologist has requested your help as guards while he studies ancient ruins. The pay is good, and the environment perfectly safe—if  somewhat creepy. But when the archaeologist reads a passage from an inscription under his breath, a fiery portal opens,  and a powerful demoness emerges—intent on travelling to whichever kingdom has now risen, and bending it to her will…
