Pro Tips:
- Down pick every note to keep the attack and volume of every note consistent.
- The first half in the 7th position is palm muted. The second half that takes place lower on the neck switches to open notes. It's also best if you can get the notes to ring together in the second half, it makes things sound a little bit extra cool.
- Pay close attention to my left hand here. You'll notice it doesn't move that much even though there are a ton of notes. The left hand can be reduced to these chord shapes:

Theory Talk:
The chords are:
C major - D major - E minor
C major - D major - E minor
Db minor7 - C major 7 - B sus4 - B major
I'm playing these chords high up on the neck, one note at a time. I keep the note D in every chord during the first half. During the second half, I keep the notes E and B in every chord (that's the 2 open strings that keep happening). These shared note are a pretty 80's thing to do.
