writing and Earning Money

I think writing in this area of fetish fiction has real draw backs compared to other artwork like drawing.  For one thing, DA has fewer ways to promote writing.   You can't create writing portfolios.  Sharing links to stories on social media doesn't really go as well because there's nothing if anything to pull people in.  Words don't grab the same way a picture can.  I couldn't do a weight gain drive like the artists do because it just wouldn't mean as much.  I don't have the finances to commission work or I would and use that to promote stories.  So, if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Part of a good commission for me could include working out of way to fill out a concept you have into a proper idea. Is one of the things that I tend to enjoy doing is taking something a person thinks isn't complete and then fill in the blanks. As forgetting on social media, I have a couple of complications. I'm on tick tock for my Star Trek YouTube channel, I am on YouTube obviously for my Star Trek YouTube channel, and I have Facebook associated with my Star Trek YouTube channel. My old Twitter account that I haven't used since a particular billionaire jackass took it over is associated with my Star Trek YouTube channel. And I really need to try to keep this separate from that. As open-minded as Star Trek fans tend to be, I still have a feeling this would hurt my channel. And my channel isn't doing so great.

It seems like some other wg authors do cross promotion on social media, but I’m not really on social media so I don’t know how much that helps bring in commissions. I would absolutely commission you for something when I have a good concept/money for it 😅

Unfortunately, I've never gotten one

Commissions are really the only way to make money as a wg writer these days
