I've been on a little hiatus. I guess I had to clear my mind some. I've made the choice to go back to school as I've not been able to find a job. This doesn't mean I'll stop writing. It will be dependent on my school work, but I can make a point to put in a little time each day for this. Someone once said they were worried I might have burnout from writing so much. It's not really that simple. I struggle with nightmares and some other sleep issues related to PTSD. Writing helps me manage it. But I am also dyslexic and some aspects of writing are harder for me. When I have story in my head I can put it out very quickly but I need to use reading software to edit. This largely consists of me using the read along function in word. But you might imagine I'm not all that keen about having this play allowed so neighbors can hear me talk about stuffing people and feeding other, not to mention the sex scenes. Well, my headphones have been regularly disconnecting from my laptop while I edit, often in mid sentence. This can happen every time I pause to make a change, or two or three times a sentence. This has made what is usually a fairly tedious process damn near impossible.

Because I will need them also for editing papers for school work, I will be getting some new ones shortly, but this has been a real issue for a couple of months. I kept hopping I'd get to where I could get them with profits from here, but that didn't happen. Any case, that's what's going on. I'm working on The Other Office, but it's slow going as I have to turn my headphones off and back on every couple of minutes between trying to do actual editing.
