Your Opinion Needed: Merchandise?
Added 2020-06-13 01:44:58 +0000 UTCCertainly no one would want to wear a Adorkable Twilight shirt or something.... BUT, I am really looking into some merchandise. I just need your opinion if you would be interested in any specific merchandise? We are thinking with your tier level we'd send you something, as well as the option for people to buy things if they wish.
For example, if you have been a Adorkable Patron Pal for awhile and you are a tiered member who gives $5 bucks for instance, we'd just automatically send you one of these merchandise things depending on your tier/support over time. We'd also allow people to purchase something if they want maybe a sticker or socks.... or underwear, lol! As for non Patreon members, they can buy stuff if they choose.
What kind of merchandise would you be interested in? Be honest. If you wouldn't be interested, let me know. This isn't cheap to get into, and if there is no demand, there is no reason to get into this.
If there is a general census people like it, maybe we can come together, talk, and specialize what kind of designs and logos you would like on your stuff!

(The image above does not represent what we would have as merch, it's just a generic idea of some things we could offer. We are also looking at a way to either phyiscally or digitally make a book of Adorkable Twilight comics in order, complete with extra goodies for readers, but that will come at a far later date if that happens).

2020-06-13 17:16:22 +0000 UTCAnother idea! Some artists run Kick starters for specific merch! Specifically I think Aero Mod's "That's all folks" pins. The advantage of this model is that you get prepaid for the amount you will produce, so the risk is minimized.

2020-06-13 15:26:32 +0000 UTCInteresting! I think merch would be nice, personally I like buttons and pins. I do like figurines or cut out standees. But indeed, it isn't cheap. Maybe consider sites that allow you to buy small quantities ( a first run for patrons for example) or even better, places that let you sell on demand and save getting bigger stock for a Con.
