Spike's Hands

Since AT&F started in 2014, we've always shown Spike with four fingers. Why? I don't know. We became so stubborn through the years we didn't want to change in the name of tradition. I guess we thought it people would notice, despite how weird and awkward it was sometimes drawing Spike holding stuff with just three fingers.
Well... November 2020 changed everything. We did our first comic finally giving Spike four fingers. He will now have four fingers from now on... and you know what? I think the only people who noticed or cared was us all this time, lol. Clap on little pink dragon dude.
Do you have any weird comments related to hands? I don't know what I am expecting if anything, lol. I just figured you all would like this weird little detail. Did anyone ever notice Spike only had three fingers? Did anyone actually notice when he appeared with four fingers?

I'm used to shows where the characters have however many fingers the animators want to draw (okay, that's pretty consistently four, but that's still not right for humans) so I never pay attention to how many fingers characters have unless I know to expect finger counts to be a plot point. In one webcomic I failed to notice for quite some time that a character had sold one of her fingers off each hand (it makes sense in context) until another character found out and called it out.
