What a common place we all seem to find comfort in. I can't tell you how many times I've sat on the floor of relatives powder room floors... it's totally normal...
So lets discuss some unique bits in this epode. The original version had complete backgrounds behind Twilight and the others that would show she was sitting on bleachers at a race track, but prior to release we removed them. It made everything 'too busy' looking.
Scootaloo fashions a hat that has the number six with a tiny little apple stem on it. The Apple's race car number is six, which is for the Mane 6. You will see the car in the next episode. We also shoved Scoots, Apple Bloom, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie in the stands to support the Apples in their delicious endeavor. Fluttershy is also there sitting with them, but she will appear in the next episode. We felt racing was something Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash would really enjoy since it could be seen as EXTREME. It just seemed like a good thing to have the Mane 6 there to support their friend. Pinkie Pie's lower half of her body is in panel 6. She is eating very oily popcorn. Rarity did not show up because local racing is "below" her. Too dirty and uncultured.

2021-07-21 05:19:22 +0000 UTCRarity might act priggish and snooty at times but I don't think she genuinely believes that things/ponies are "beneath her". Perhaps she made Scootaloo's hat or team t-shirts/scarves. Perhaps she's watching/listening to the race at home so she can still support them without being deafened by the earsplitting cacaphony.
