Unfinished business
Added 2022-04-15 18:32:08 +0000 UTCYknow last time I posted an update I said I would circle back after finishing Search Party season 5. Well I still haven’t, but in my defense it’s not my fault. My gf wanted to watch it and I said sure why not, I’ll rewatch it (after all I love this show a lot) but ever since I started living with my girlfriend in July, we don’t finish a single show. It’s actual torture. That’s the problem with starting a show together, ya can’t really just finish the show without your partner because it’s almost a shared experience. But the girl has taken me hostage! In October 2020 we had just finished Season 5 of the sopranos (after months) it’s April 2022 and we’re still on season 6. We’re talking about the most critically acclaimed show of all time (and I love it so much I call it Tony time) but I won’t finish it until this monster I choose to live with sits down and watches the last episodes with me. Also just FYI she loves the sopranos, along with half the shows we’ve watched and started, however it doesn’t stop her from walking away.
On the brighter side of things, and frankly what I should’ve opened with, I got a dog! His names Rocky. We rehomed him after a friend of a friend of a friend was moving and couldn’t bring him along. At first he didn’t like me (I think he saw me as a threat) but now he loves me just as much as I love him. He’s my tiny son, and as soon as I have him trained for barking I’ll be able to bring him everywhere I go. My therapist celebrated since she’s been telling me to get a Emotional Support Animal for a while. Well now I have Rocky.
