Ashes. -"Jae" is ashes is Korean, so they have tothink of a word ending with the syllable "Jae". (San-JAE = An abbreviated word for industrial hazards Hwa-JAE = A fire So-JAE = Subject matter or location.) Question 4: Think of a BTS song, that has the word BTS (or in this case Bangtan) in it. ("This is Bangtan style" = Dope "Believe in Bangtan" = Not Today "Almighty Bangtan" (It actually translates to Charging or Attacking Bangtan) = Attack on Bangtan) Question 5: Name a BTS song that has numbers in it. The first thing Jin used was the Korean number song (They use the Sino-Korean number system and add the syllable of the number to make words) They used Davichi's song 8282 when they heard the number song, without even hearing the question :D Question 7(?): Answer all the nonsense questions. (They use questions that are very... how would you say it? Umm... They're pretty much like dad jokes, but clever ones :D) In what world does the mom side with the younger brother when siblings are fighting? -In a world where no one sides with the older brother. (This is easier understood, when you translate from Korean: Hyung means older brother, and the answer in Korean is "Hyung-pyeon opneun sesang". Hyung-pyeon = Hyung's side (older brother's side) Opneun = Without Sesang = World World without the brother's side.) How can you say "a kid gave birth to a god" in 4 letters (syllables in this situation)? -A just born child (Or a simply born child) (The answer in Korean is "Gat-nan-a-i" Gat = An abbreviation of the Gan-dan, which means simple (This word can also be used to say God) Nan = An abbreviation of the word Nah-da, which means to give birth A-i =A child So "God gave birth to a child") What kind of duck fights the best? -Eulji Moon Duck (This answer is more of a straight forward answer. There lived a military leader, called Ulchi Mundok in the 7th centure Goguryeo, so they used his names syllables to make the answer.) What kind of magic does a meteor perform in the night sky? -Meteor market. (There's not a good way to translate it, but you'll know what the joke kind of is when I explain it. So, meteor is "Yu-seong" in Korean, and the real word for magic in Korean is "Ma-seul", but the answer comes from taking the "Ma-seul" out and replacing it with the Konglish word for magic: "Mae-jig") What kind of milk did King Se-Jeong drink? -A-e-i-o-U-YU. (King Se-Jeong was the one who invented the Han-gul system, so spelling the vowels is a very clever joke in that sense. But the last part, "U-yu" was highlighted, because "U-yu" means milk in Korean, so there you go.) What happens when 4 cats become a monster? -PokΓ©mon (In Korean, they kind of mix the consonants F and P, because it's kind of easier to say, with the way they've learned. So the pronouciation for 4 in Konglish is "Po". They used the Konglish way to say cat, aka caet. In Korean the official way to say PokΓ©mon is "Po-ket-mon". So, it makes a little more sense now.) What happens when a strawberry loses it's job? -Strawberry Syrup (The real answer has to do with the word strawberry, but the syrup part. Syrup in Konglish is "Si-rob" But when you spell it differently, you get the word "Sil-ob" (because R and L are the same). "Sil-ob" means unemplyment.) What does the King say when he doesn't want to go to the palace? -Grumble grumble (Grumble translates to "Gung-si-reong". Koreans use it quite a bit to express their dislike for something. "Gung" = Palace "Si-reong" is an "aegyo" way to say "Shir-eo" "Shir-eo" = Basically translates to "I don't want to") Why shouldn't you close the car doors too hard? (or slam them basically) (They didn't show the answer, but I'll tell you anyway -Because there's 4 doors. (This can be a tricky one. To slam, or too hard translates to "Se-gae", And "Se-gae" also means three of something. So the answer comes from that. Four of something translates to "Ne-gae", so "Se-gae", and "Ne-gae" sound similar, so there's the joke.) How long does it for the oil to arrive? -5 days. (5 in Sino-Korean is "O" Day is "il" When you combine them, it becomes "O-il", aka oil) What's the name of the younger brother in a triangle? -A triangle (The answer is actually Jeong Sam-Gak) (There's also a word "Jeong-sam-gak", which translates to a triangle)
