I'm gonna have a break from the shorts to focus on Resistance 3 before set building for Damian's adventure in S03E01... but for those who aren't on Tier 3, here is the Episode guide for the new season, as well as the name reveal trailer attached.
Reports have been spreading across Gotham that a Monster is in town! When Damian investigates the most recently reported sighting, he is confronted by Riot!
With this new monster taking an instant interest in the cute little Robin, he makes his intentions very similar, and enjoys his prey immensely, before giving him an epic stuffing that'll leave him with a night he'll never forget!
The US Navy have taken up camp near the BSAA barracks. Jason and Nick meet BSAA Veterans Chris and Piers, and as the pair gloat who is better. The competition begins!
But with attractions and chemistry oozing, the competition heats up! With the winner's enjoying the losers, it's all to play for... or is it. Who will come out on top? so to speak?

Deep within the mines of Shokan, kombatants Jax and Reptile grow tired of the lashing of the guard. Plotting an escape they put their bold plan into action!
But the guard is none other than the formidable Goro, and he is keen to make sure the mining operation goes to plan, and to Shao Kahn's approval. The punishment for disobedience is the wrath of Goro! who has Kahn's permission to do whatever he wants!
Intercepting a distress call from a deep space shuttle which has been damaged by an ion storm. Cal Kestis and his trusted droid BD1 board and look for survivors.
The only one they find left alive is James Vega, but when the structural integrity field collapses the two pair are brought together in a way neither could have foreseen, as the saviour of the piece, may not be the one you expect.
It's Halloween, and Luke Sullivan wants to settle the score. Who is better, the awesome Street Fighter, or DoA winning pro Jann Lee! No rules, the winner is the one left standing...
However, it's Halloween, and as two muscular sweat dripping hunks are a beautiful treat, the Trick.... or in this case, the Trickster is in the shadows, and he loves the sight and scents of the two boys, so he decides to play too, and he plays dirty!

Voting opens on July 1st, will Plant 42 make it a third season in a row burying it's seeds into Drift's tight body, will the Twins get to play with Jin Kazama? Perhaps Venom will finally give chase and enjoy Jacob Custos... 18 packs, 1 winner!
There are at least NINE Debuts in this season, meaning there are 9 characters who have never had an animation appearing across these 6 episodes. The Mega Pack vote will open for all Patreons to pick at the end of this month, so there maybe even more new faces appearing!

So now that the last episode has been announced, here are my thoughts on season 3. Episode 1: I like me some Damian, and I think it will be cool. I hope you don't go too dark on it, as I think it's a fine line. Go too dark and risk not being enjoyable for multiple viewings. So it will be challenging, but I'm curious to see what you come up with for it. Episode 2: It sounds fine…to be honest, I don't really understand the synopsis. I'm not sure if you're trying to avoid "spoilers" or if you don't have a clear vision in your head of it, but the synopsis is really vague. I noticed that with a few of the episodes. For example, Competition could be a lot of things (arm wrestling, shooting range, obstacle course). I can't quite wrap my head around it. That would be my critique of this so far, spelling things out a little more in the future. For example, you could say, "After a few drinks, Chris begins to brag about his time on the BSAA's training course. Being competitive as well, Jason begins to brag that he could beat the time. Soon, Chris and Jason drag piers and Nicholas along with them, and the end result may be a bit different than anyone imagined." I can wrap my head around the basic plot of what is happening. I would like to see a few more concrete ideas, as the vagueness of them makes it a bit hard to get excited about. Episode 3: The only thing I would say is, going off the synopsis, it sounds like this one might require like a narration at the start, as it seems like you'll need to know some Mortal Kombat lore. Why are they in the dungeon, or why is Goro the guard? I'm not up to date on my Mortal Kombat lore. So that is something to keep in mind, as it wouldn't be as simple as Nightwing=Hero, so of course, he's going to investigate the crash. This one might need some narration set up or like a star wars style opening Episode 4: On a technical level, I'm sure it will be great. I genuinely think this is the best concept of the season. The idea sounds awesome. On a personal level, I'm disappointed by the pairing, it's a let down that my favorite boi in the DJU is debuting with my absolute least favorite guy. Vega looks like a smashed potato. I kind of wish Vega had won the debut pack because I'm sure you had a plan B for Cal to rescue, who is, undoubtedly, the better choice for the animation anyway. I'm bummed that the one thing that could spoil Cal's debut for me is the one thing that's happening. Couldn't it be anyone else? I really do love the premise of this one, as it sounds like an easy 10/10 idea. The pairing just isn't for me. Anyone else with Cal, and I'd be all for this. But Cal and Vega boinking is a turn-off. People say be optimistic, but unless there's some unannounced boys that are appearing to get it on with them so Vega doesn't have to touch my boi, I don't foresee myself liking this one. Sorry : (. Vega's one of the few boys I can't stomach. Wish Cal had a different scene partner for his debut. Thant's my vent on this episode and I'm not going to say anything more about it. I Know it will be flawlessly animated and I hope everyone enjoys it. Episode 5: I have concerns about this one. Because you have two storylines going on here, and given the length of the animations, I'm not sure how it will get pulled off. On the one hand, you have Jann and Luke, and on the other hand, Trickster. My worry is that the Jann and Luke lore stuff will get quickly sidelined in favor of trickster stuff. I think there are two competing storylines here that should be their own animations. A Luke and Jann rivalry one, and then a spooky Trickster Halloween one. Bring on the spooky vibes though haha. I'm just concerned that with two interesting storylines crammed into one animation, neither one will be given the justice it deserves. Episode 6: I think it's great that the season kind of comes full circle with Damian. The Tim/Damian/Damian anxiety plot line is great in the DJU. Really fleshes out the characters, and to be honest, it kind of helps me. I struggle with anxiety too, so it's always interesting to see storylines centered around that and how people deal with them. So I'm looking forward to this one a lot! The set was one of my all-time favorites, and I'm excited to see how that translates to the "big screen," haha. I like the more focus on the boys this season. The monsters are fine and good for animation, but it always feels like they dominate the animations, as most of the shorts, all of the long animations, apart from the Alex one, are monster-based. So I'm glad to see more boys/boys this season. Yeah, again, I would say flesh the synopsis out a bit more in the future, as I'm having a hard time picturing what the animations are about because they are kind of vague and abstract in their wording. But yeah, cheers to season 3. Keep being a ray of Sunshine in the Dark, DJ.
