Twenty-Five Twenty-One ep16 Reaction!

Omg I can't believe you guys haven't watched W, It's one of the most creative and innovative dramas and I feel like it was ahead of it's time, I highly recommend it and would love to rewatch it with you guys, it stars the actress from Happiness and she has the best chemistry with Lee Jong Suk but more importantly the story telling/animations is phenomenal.

Well we HIGHLY recommend "Reply 1988!" And you can totally watch Reply 1997 along with us! Romance is a Bonus Book is a very sweet drama we love Lee Jong Suk, especially in Pinocchio! I don't think we've seen W yet, though it's been on our list for a while (there are just so many dramas it keeps getting pushed back). My ID is Gangnam Beauty is really good too! Lots of good commentary on appearance and social acceptance. Cha Eun Woo has really grown as an actor from there to Rookie Historian to True Beauty. We started watching back in 2016 so we've seen a LOT! haha We actually have polls every so often where you can submit shows you want us to watch, we take the top requests, and then all the patrons vote for their favorites! Not sure when our next poll will be but definitely keep an eye out! We're so glad you're enjoying watching with us!

Ooh I've never seen any of the Reply series I've heard great things about it. Omg Weightlifting Fairy is one of my all time favourites and was the drama that made fall in love with Nam Joo-Hyuk actually come to think of it, it has a few similarities with 2521 other than the age gap, I haven't rewatched in years either. Have you guys watched W: Two Worlds Apart it's one of my all time favourites also another one I love is Romance is a bonus book I just adore Lee Jong Suk 😅 also I know you guys loved True Beauty and Cha Eunwoo his drama My ID is Gangnam beauty is also amazing and a bit more mature than True Beauty since it's based on university life but it's so good and teaches such great lessons. So I highly recommend them 😊

Yeah... Sometimes the pain is good, or necessary but this pain is just bone deep! Shows how good the writing and acting is to make us all feel it so deeply! And yeah, it'll take a WHILE before we get over that ending! Business Proposal is very light-hearted and fun! We've been enjoying it! Pure romantic-comedy! Next up after Twenty Five-Twenty One will be "Reply 1997!" Mom and I haven't seen it though we've seen "Reply 1988." So we're excited to get into it! Not sure yet what to do after Business Proposal, but we want to do a newer drama. Still deciding on the right one! After Reply 1997 we'll be doing "Weightlifting Fairy!" We haven't seen it in forever, and it was one of our favorites so we're excited to re-watch it! Goblin, Reply 1997 and Weightlifting Fairy were all VERY CLOSE in our last patron poll so we decided to do all three!

Yeah the writers made them too good I agree, honestly both their jobs were stressful but the key was communication which he especially failed at so I understand Hee Do and yeah I'm glad they got closer but it still hurts 😭 I don't think I'll ever get over this ending! I started Business proposal but only watched the 1st episode I gotta catch up and lighten my mood. I'm loving re watching some older dramas with you guys, I was wondering what shows you're planning to watch next?

Samy

We totally hear you Samy!!! It's so hard when we can see how much they grew together! The chemistry that they had and the things they went through to finally be together! It seems like the writers might have made it TOO good! Like you said, they seemed to work out so well and if only they had tried to understand each other more. But his job was so stressful, and he wasn't being open with her, and then she couldn't handle the constant disappointment like she'd lived with her mom being a journalist. It's one of those things that under the right circumstances, things could have worked out really well, but everything that would make it not work happened. I'm glad that they got closure at the end, but we're just so sad! Still an amazing drama and absolutely worth watching even through the sadness!!! We'll absolutely miss these characters a lot. It took a WHILE to get over this drama, and I think we're still getting over it! We absolutely needed some Business Proposal after this one! haha

I avoided watching the finale for so long because everything leading up to it made it seem like they won't be together in the future and when I finally did about week ago I was crying so much like my heart had been ripped out, they made us love Hee Do and Yi-jin like no tomorrow, their innocence and pure love was sooo refreshing including that with their phenomenal acting and chemistry, seriously one of my favourite dramas/couples in recent years and I don't think I'll ever be over that ending. I'm not gonna say I hated but I did understand why they separated but to me there was lots of flaws they were they're for eachother through their highs and lows and supported each other even in the first few episodes when Yi-jin left and came back everything was resolved I feel like if they truly cared and loved each other which they clearly did they could've definitely made their relationship work even with long distance idk I felt like both parties didn't try to understand each other even though they understood and were by each others side through highs and lows for a few years, I can keep going lol because I'm triggered and bitter at how quickly they gave up on their incredible love when it didn't make sense for the characters we grew to love it seemed unlike them but nevertheless I still loved these two so much and I miss them 😭

This was so hard to watch and so emotional. Friendships and loves sometimes last and sometimes not. It was hard seeing them break up because we watched their friendship love story from the beginning. It really was so precious but life got in the way. Sure it was probably for the best but it was so hard to watch and the tears just wouldn't stop. We were so invested. The second couple was so cute and there were so many good things that happened too. Like the BTS song...Life Goes on. (Yes we are hopeless romantics too!)

KDrama Cafe

Wow... I watched this when it first aired and I sobbed my eyes out, but now I just feel good that they made the choices that felt right to them, and that they're living happily, all of them 🙏 It's the first loves... I had my first boyfriend about 3 years ago and we did not end it as well as Heedo and Yijin unfortunately. He swore his love to me, and the very next day he broke up with me through a text, saying that we should be friends... and I said no to that thanfully. He taught me what it was like to be in a relationship, so I felt like that was his purpose in my life, so I let him go completely after we broke up and I'm much happier and now just living my life to the fullest before my true love gets here and sweeps me off my feet✌️ (yes, I am a hopeless romantic😆)
