Progress report 04 進度報告04

Hello everyone, B-flat here! 

Here's our end of the month progress update! 

I'll outline the progress we've made for each major milestone.  

Attack and Damage System: 

We've made progress with attack and damage--although we're using a typical setup, we've customized it for La Vitalis. This system is primarily responsible for handling attacks that can be caused by any in-game objects (i.e. Vita, enemies, projectiles, destructible objects, traps, etc.) and the damage they can potentially receive. Once this is fully complete, we can focus on creating various objects for both Vita and her enemies.

Nude character art is shown below: 

We'll use a similar lower-corner body sprite layout as with The Agnietta, though we will add the ability to toggle it on or off.  Most poses are created via skeletal animation. This means we'll focus on standing poses and all possible parasite variations first. There have been requests for simple animation; if we do have the resources and time, we may consider dynamic art in future. The priority for the demo, however, is to complete the static poses and artwork first.  

Vita's Attack Animation: 

This month, we've completed the skeleton for Vita's weapon attack animation. Her initial equipment is a type of straight sword: a regular medium-speed and medium-power weapon. 

Vita's attack consists of roughly three actions, accompanied by minor movement and everyone's favorite aspect: "jiggle physics."  We've also added weapon trailing effects to help distinguish the attack hitbox. This was, unexpectedly, the most time consuming part of the job; most of the month was spent adjusting the animation details.

Enemy Skeletal Animation: 

I'm proud to say we finished the first enemy...though Vita may not like how it looks! 

This enemy has both larval and adult forms. You might notice that the adult form slightly resembles a pesky minor creature from The Agnietta...and can probably guess how it will "bother" Vita this time. Hopefully everyone will enjoy finding out how the parasitic effects will affect our protagonist differently in this game!  

Currently in progress: 

Completing the skeletal animation for the second enemy (tentacle-related). Connecting multiple skeletal animations for parasite-related actions. Initiating the construction of the first level map and related lighting effects.  

Misc: 

I want to express my gratitude to everyone for their encouragement last month when I had to postpone the release of the demo. Despite the complexities, I'm committed to delivering a top-quality product. I've become more familiar with the Unity engine, and I assure everyone that all of the controversies recently will not affect my progress. I sincerely appreciate your patience, and I'll continue to provide regular updates on the progress of the project.  Thank you, everyone!

月底跟各位報告目前工作進度,這邊依照完成的大項目來說明進度。

攻擊與受擊系統

終於開始處理攻擊與受擊相關的系統了,

雖然是很普通且常見的系統,但我還是為遊戲做了一個。

主要用於處理遊戲內任何物件(例如:女主、敵人、投射物、可破壞物件、陷阱等等)

可能造成的攻擊、與其可能遭受到的攻擊。

這個系統完成了,才能真正開始製作各種我方、敵方的物件。

女主的立繪

裸體立繪如下圖:

立繪系統基本上會沿用治癒使的呈現方式,但可自由開關是否要顯示。

不過由於大部分姿勢會由骨架人偶演出,所以立繪預計只繪有站姿與其所有可能的寄生差分。

另外這部分我希望有餘力後要製成簡單動畫的,

不過考慮時程與人力因素,試玩版會先放出靜態的立繪。

動態的立繪就先當成未來工作放著

女主攻擊的骨架動畫

這個月也完成了女主初始武器攻擊的骨架動畫。

初始武器類似直劍,屬於速度與威力都中規中矩的武器。

攻擊大致為三段動作,附帶小的位移與乳搖。

還順便製作了武器拖尾的效果,方便理解攻擊實體判定。

這算是這個月最花時間的部分,調整動作細節與判定都比預期多用了不少時間處理。

敵人的骨架動畫

終於迎來第一個登場的敵人了,下圖是敵人圖與女主的對照比例。

這個敵人有分幼蟲、成蟲的型態,

成蟲的樣子基本上就跟治癒使某個煩人的小怪類似,

會對女主做的事情也差不多。

因此前作有個類似扶他寄生的魔法,預計也會在本作以其他方式再次出現哦。

目前進行中的工作

雜談

很感謝大家在我上個月說試玩版要延後時,仍然鼓勵我繼續製作。

雖然事情繁雜,但我還是會努力把試玩版做出來的。

Unity引擎也越用越熟悉,雖然前陣子Unity官方有一些風波,

但目前不會影響到我的進度。
