August update

Hello everyone and welcome to another update!

I've been way too busy trying to get a more reasonable pace with commissions and gaming too so I don't get to feel like I'm losing my head, but there's still a lot of things to do, so I'll make it short.

Paypal update

So paypal will have an update for next month, between September 23rd and 25th. This will only affect to Mexico, so if you don't have an account there then you shouldn't worry. As far as I understand paypal won't have any virtual money savings anymore, so I won't be able to keep my funds there without taking everything out to my bank account and now the process will be almost immediatly. Whenever I receive a payment it will be sent to my bank account after one day. And to add salt to the wound apparently there'll be yet ANOTHER commission for changing dollars to mexican peso, which means I'll be receiving yet even less money.

This whole situation really messes up a lot of people who uses paypal in Mexico, and a lot of people I know are looking for alternatives to paypal right now, and I'll be keeping an eye out for any other solution to this problem.

Current commissions

Commissions are going okay. I'm working at a slower pace than usual, where I'm taking the payment one by one instead for asking them all at once and keep a queue waiting for their picture to be done as soon as possible. It seems to be working, although there are times I want to work on something for myself and yet, even if I don't own a commission yet, I feel like I'm procrastinating. Either way, I think this system has been working better than I thought, but you guys tell me! Do you think I'm going slower this way?

Also I've been kinda slow posting the pictures and I still owe the speed painting videos of a lot of pictures at this point, but I swear by the beginning of September I'll upload all of them as far as I have.

Future projects for Patreon supporters

During these months I've still been thinking if I offer enough here to make it worth supporting my patreon, even the smallest ammount. I see a lot of people making patreons with small quantity tiers and offering like exclusive personal pictures and such, so I guess I should do the same for you guys (Yet I still debate internally that my personal pictures, aside from not being that many, aren't any good).

One idea is to make small comics, sketched kinda, or maybe one or two of them being detailed, about some of the stuff I think about here and there (The usual webcomic you see around twitter and other social media sites) but I also think of TF scenarios or any of the crazy ideas I like coming up from time to time. Maybe instead of drawing them I just write them up and post them here as well, but my English isn't THAT good to keep a good narrative, but I even struggle trying to express myself in Spanish so... yeah.

Another idea I thought of was creating a collection of my art for next year. Next year it'd be my 10th anniversary since I created Silver, so I thought maybe I could make like an art book with some of my best pics in them, add some comments on some of the pics and even print physical versions. The digital version would be shared here and the physical would be shipped to the highest tier, but maybe I could sell them and ship them as well. This is still a random thought, so it's not definitive for sure that this will be the case or if this is gonna be made for sure, but I'll love to hear your thoughts.

The last idea I had is the collectible cards I wanted to make (Remember those?). I struggled for like an entire week trying to come up with an idea for them. Would it be collectible cards? Would it have information on each character? Would they be playable in some sort of game? What characters would there be in? Would it be characters made by you or just the characters of your friends and make them like a collection of the people's sonas you know and love? At that point I had to stop because none of those were clear enough for me, so I left it for now. Some people told me those would just be badges and that's it, others told me that if there isn't a game then what's the point, and they even made me thought that most people just have their characters and have no detailed info on them or don't know what to express for them as a description (Pretty much myself). The point is... I don't know. This is something that will still haunt me until I get something done, something I look at and say "Yes, this is it", pretty much something like collectibles and have them in a binder or something like that.

That's pretty much it. Writting all of this even made me feel better, but it also made me feel like I really should commit more to what I have right now. Having a Patreon is not easy, is commiting to bring content to the people who support you and hope you get to where you wish to be, and my goal is to keep growing as an artist and be better, be able to express better many scenarios people want me to draw and get to do bigger things.

I will keep working as hard as I can to keep things coming for you guys, because if it wasn't for any of you, I sure don't know what I'd do.
