January update (The end of my Patreon?)

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing okay!

As you may have read in the title, I am considering closing up my Patreon site. I will get into detail but first I want to give a general update.

Thanks to all the support I was able to get some needed upgrades to my station work. I was able to get a laptop and a new monitor. I used a 27" 720p TV as a monitor for too long and it was kinda busted so I had to change it eventually. My laptop will help me stay in touch with work when I move to other sites (Not going out as much right now, but it will come useful for sure).

Project wise I haven't been able to think much about them due to having some bills to pay. I've been working on pending commissions so I get enough income to survive for a little longer. It's kinda hard trying to get commissions done when you have other things you want to do like Patreon works and expand on other fields.

And this is where it takes me to possibly closing my Patreon... Maybe. I say that because I may or may not do that. The thing is I see people coming and leaving within the first three months, especially on higher tiers, which makes sense because I honestly don't offer as much as other artists do, and I get stumped between me trying to expand on other fields to generate other kind of content and drawing more exclusive stuff for you, which sometimes bums me down having to keep some stuff exclusive for a while before I share it publicly.

I am thinking of a possible solution to this. I will keep doing commissions for sure, but I just can't get to work on multiple things like drawing stuff for Patreon and have some of it wait to be shared with others. I feel I should have a current big project that could be much more worth following and supported.

That's why now I am looking for solutions. So far I thought of having some sort of tip jar. I could make content and post it publicly and have something like one single tier for one dollar or more if anyone wants to donate a bit more. There wouldn't be any rewards except maybe the private Discord server and have ideas dropped there for suggestions? Maybe the polls could continue, but I have to think about this a bit more. I'm open for suggestions about this so I can get a proper set up for you who are the ones who have been very supportive. I want to do what's best and fair for all and so I will look into this.
