Ah, yes, you made it to the most unpopular writing choice in Criminal Minds. To this day I cannot believe the complete disrespect that A J Cook experienced here. It's one thing to be written out of a show because the story or the character's arc demands it, but because of budget reasons??? That must feel so shitty and disrespectful, you've been on this series for 5 years and then they just designate you unimportant and kick you off.

In my country if you are in lest say at a military lets say gunner,they can put you wherever they want,same in police,they can move you to whicehever unit neeeds man,and of course if you are qualified. Strauss had nothing to do with this,she just wanted to make sure Jj didnt want to go as its a promotion,but Pentagon made the call not Straus,they simply said they need her no matter she doesnt want to. You mentioned maybe the actor had to go or something. A J Cook was written out from the show on financial issues by the producres,which made fans outrage as she is one of the best characters :D
