So I watched this reaction the first time this morning around 3:00 am, so my brain was just booting up when I put in my initial comment. The "girl's night" with Kate and Yelena was a great scene and I hope we get more of them in future movies and TV series. It made me smile when Yelena said (referring to the mac & cheese) "my daddy says it's good for you" because you know that's exactly what Alexi would say. Also gotta say that Yelena has become quite the fashionista since her days of multi-pocketed vests. She be stylish AF. We have a pretty firm timeline for everything now. If you recall, the first thing Eleanor did after talking to Clint was make a rather urgent sounding phone call, presumably to Kingpin, or to Valentina directly. Yelena was in Ohio, so it would be only a short flight to New York. So it all works, time wise. If we assume that each episode is one day, then we are 2 days from Christmas and the finale will take place Christmas Eve. "I've never worked a day in my life:" might be the most low key funny line in the whole series. Jack might be sketchy, but he is fun. I am anxiously awaiting the finale reaction. I have a feeling that you and Kim are gonna like it.

Watching while airing, everyone basically knew Kingpin was gonna be in it because people were theorising that he was who Clint was talking about. There was that moment in episode 3 at the start where Maya's Dad tells her that her Uncle will be picking her up, and we see his hand and hear him laugh, and everyone immediately realised who it was (those who have seen Daredevil anyway, I have not seen it yet, but my brother is pestering me... Haha) So when you didn't realise who it was during that scene, I knew your reaction would be great! Haha I love the scene of Ronin vs Maya. He was definitely not doing his best. I mean, we've seen him actually as Ronin and he was brutal. But he wasn't about to actually do anything to hurt Maya, he already felt guilty for everything else. But I just love any time we get to see him as Ronin... Even though to me it was clear he wasn't fighting at his best, there was still something terrifying about him. I mean, just before that he'd apologised to Natasha for what he was about to do. Now, obviously he was just talking about putting the suit on again, but there was definitely this kind of uncertainty that came from the sudden change in how that speech was going. Which I loved. I loved that entire scene of him talking to Natasha. (I loved him calling the Soul Stone a "stupid orange rock" too... Haha) I mean, even just the fact that he turned his hearing aid off for it. Tune out the rest of the world so it's just them. But I absolutely loved the sudden change from "I miss you" to "I'm so sorry for what I'm about to do." It was very sudden and almost jarring, I guess. It just made it more intense imo.
