Daredevil S3 starts almost immediately after the end of this, which is the main (really the only) reason for watching The Defenders. This show had no effect on Jessica Jones (as you already know) and its effects on the Luke Cage and Iron Fist shows was minimal (still can't recommend watching either of those shows). The Punisher is doesn't reference much from Daredevil either, with one exception that I am 100% sure you will enjoy ( gotta agree to disagree with Kelly on this one, I enjoyed the Hell outta the Punisher show).

2022-08-02 21:59:52 +0000 UTCI may be wrong but I remember we knew season 3 was coming before the defenders came out. So the whole Matt stuff was not a surprise at all. Regarding what to watch next, it’s really only majorly important to watch defenders before daredevil season 3. After that I’d say it doesn’t really matter. BUT, technically the release date order is the defenders, punisher s1, daredevil s3, the punisher s2. I really don’t mind what comes next I’m just happy we’ve gotten past the defenders stage😂
