I stopped caring about Hotch after he let a murderer go and I believe the team had inclination to what Elle did but they are doing nothing to bring a murderer to jail as well. At least the sheriffs son is going to prison so I don’t have a problem with the sheriff helping his son he’s no different than any parent if he did it to cover for another person in law enforcement like Hotch and the team is doing that’s where I still have a problem
