Right? He didn't seen evil or antagonistic to me. He was rough around the edges but I always felt the characters jumped t conclusions when it came to him

2021-02-28 18:10:22 +0000 UTCI think Derek was meant to start out as sort of an antagonist who gradually becomes an ally (you know the type), but they just made him way too likeable right off the bat, so the protagonists not trusting him comes off as unreasonable. I remember I had the same reaction pretty much from the start.
