They see an individual act or an event and try to attach some divine purpose to it,when in reality it's just the way a particular circumstance played itself out.Lash basically appointed himself judge,jury,and executioner of any Inhuman he deemed unworthy. He spared,and ultimately saved,Daisy because he had a personal connection with her.Andrew did not completely disappear when he changed into Lash.It was already established that Andrew understood and agreed with Lash's actions,so I tend to think that Talbot's nickname for him,"Rasta Hulk" is pretty accurate. Lash was just Andrew without the limitations of a human body.
