Finally! Someone who sees how self absorbed Elena is. Literally all conversations that she has with people end up being about her and what she feels about the situation. She really can't help being the center of attention. And this is definitely nothing new. Like I will never forget the episode where Caroline transitioned to a vampire and Stefan, Damon and Elena were talking about it and Elena is like ... "why is Katherine doing this to me?" To me???? Excuse you? Caroline is the one who was murdered and forced to change against her will and going through trauma but somehow this is about you? Ugh
