Aww thank you! I do write sometimes so that means a lot. Those scenes were so beautiful and I am actually really glad that I watched the two back to back. The bridge scene was probably one of my favorite scenes so far because it was so well done and it takes a lot of work to get something underwater to work that well. As far as the Damon/Elena thing. Maybe she always has but I find it interesting that we get that moment and that idea seemed to have gotten stuck with her. I feel like even if she always wanted that, the idea of it was pushed more to the forefront because of that "suggestion." I did notice the Klaus thing, I love him lol. OMG I can't wait. Low key nervous though because idk how I'm going to feel about vampire Elena.

Happyy new Year!! Thanks for posting both loved you’re reaction and I think u should probably be a writer you understand characters, plots quite well 😉 Love that u love the symbolism. Sucha beautiful finale cried my eyes out always watching this. Alaric dying in Damon’s arm always gets me and the look in his eyes it’s so painful to watch. And just before this Elena told him she loves Stefan and she’s choosing him. I can’t imagine the pain he must have been in :( Love Alaric’s character soo much His death is soo heartbreaking to watch. I feel Elena always as a person wanted a love that consumes her and she loves adventure danger etc as Damon said I don’t think particularly it’s cz Damon told her that. Yes he did tell her what she wanted and then compelled her to forget they met. The bridge scene was really well shot and it was so messed up to watch poor Elena she’s been through hell in life. Also I don’t know if u noticed when Tyler and Caroline met at the end there that was Klaus so it was klaus who spoke to Caroline and gave her hope must say he spoke beautifully there. Season 4 is a crazyy ride very much different then these seasons can’t wait for u to watch it 😍

Oh yeah, I don't think I explained myself correctly. Elena did want to live and tried to save herself but when Stefan came in and saw the opportunity for Stefan to save one of them she made the decision to save Matt and you can see her actually physically rejecting Stefan's help. So I think that her survivors guilt and the love she had for Matt both played a big part because she really didn't want to be the one making it out alive while someone else she cared about died. Everyone always choose her and this time she didnt want it to go that route. And its good to hear that no one blames Stefan for this because I can see how it could be misinterpreted. Poor Damon, he lost his love and best friend. Its so tragic. And yeah I love the symbolism. They play it so well and it makes everything that more emotional.

Viewers aren't upset at Stefan for saving Matt and everyone gets why he did it. Elena did try to get out of that car before Stefan got there. She wa trying to wake up Matt and she tried to get her seatbelt off but she couldn't. She tried to break the window with her elbow and of course couldn't. Whatever 'survivor's guilt' she may have she did NOT just sit there and let herself die. She did however decide HOW she was going to spend the last few seconds of her life and that was saving Matt's life by making Stefan save him instead of her. By the time all that had gone on she'd been underwater for about a minute and a half. Which is about the average of how long a person can hold their breath. She held on as long as she could but knowing Matt was going to be okay I think she couldn't fight anymore and so you see her drown. Alaric. *cries* I really really loved him and it broke my heart watching Alaric and essentially Elena dying in Damon's arms. Damon's face was just pure helplessness and devastation. I like that you appreciate all the symbolism in the show.
