I love the demons. I actually like them better than the angels or whatever, cause OMG I wouldn't be able to last too long around those people. This is a really good point though and I completely agree that it makes perfect sense.

Demons are fallen angels, and their fall came from their anger over God choosing humanity over them. Their sin is jealousy. So they're not cartoonishly evil for evil's sake. From their point of view they have good reason to hate us.
