They are so SOFT. Friendship goals right there. Oh yeah that part was so true and I dont think I have seen it be discussed before? Telling the victim shes lucky or that her injuries are minor. They dont mean anything by it but I can only imagine how the victim feels just by hearing that. Dude I was not expecting that at all. SHOOKETH

Maybe it would have been different if it had been Morgan. I suppose everyone was so caught up on the case to pay attention to what was happening with Elle. I dont blame her, honestly I would have done the same in her shoes. She was already stressed out, angry, suffering from ptsd and pushed to the point where she didn't see another option. When he told her it was thanks to her that he was out and able to rape other women!! OH My God, what a bastard. Regarding the cops, its frustrating but they also have to follow protocol. They cant just kick the door in. Although this time they knew that she was being targeted so they should be an exception of some kind, idk. Its a hard call.

2021-01-30 10:58:48 +0000 UTCThe phone calls between Morgan and Garcia are always a highlight, bringing some much-needed fun to very dark topics! I really, really like this episode. Not only because it discusses some really important things (like how victims of sexual assault still struggle in their everyday lives even when people tell them they're "lucky" to have survived), but also because I LOVED the ending. Such a twist!

2021-01-29 23:31:39 +0000 UTCWhat's really sad about this to me is that Reid is the only person to really try to reach out and help Elle out, but he's just not very good at the whole comfort thing. If someone else had really reached out before everything went down, things might've went a bit better for her. And you're right, she shouldn't have been put in that position. Someone else could've done it. Hell, even JJ would've been better if they had no one from the Police there who could do it. It's horrible, because honestly, shooting him was wrong but can we really fully blame her for it? He was a rapist who was being let go and it was "her fault". If she didn't shoot him and he went on to rape more women, she would've felt it was her fault. Plus, we don't want him raping more women anyway. Personally, I'd be glad that scumbag was off the streets. Though I'd prefer arrested and sent to Prison (because I don't like killing unless it is absolutely necessary) if it was the only way then I'd be fine with him being dead. Yes, they have Psych Evaluations, but as Heather said in her comment above, the BAU basically wrote them. They know how to get past them. Which is very dangerous, and honestly explains how these characters are still on the Team considering I'm pretty sure they're all at least a little unstable... Hahaha I also loved the little montage of them all in their rooms. When they were supposed to be sleeping, but really they were all just working on the case separately. Which is understandable. Women were getting raped, of course they'd wanna solve the case ASAP and make sure these other women are safe from at least this man. But like, I'm almost certain none of them know what sleep is... Except occasionally on the Jet... And the scene at the beginning with them all still at the Office and Gideon telling them they should not be modelling their social life after his. And Reid's comment about Hotch and Morgan "Hotch is married. And Morgan is, well, Morgan." Hahahaha I love how that just explains everything perfectly... Also, Morgan! You love kicking doors down! GET ON IT BUDDY! Hahaha (The one time a door needs kicking down, it doesn't happen...) No, it was understandable that they left the house after no answer. What are you supposed to do? Break into her house when she might just be out? What if she had been out, and returned to people in her home anyway? Even though they're the Police/FBI it'd be terrifying. They didn't have any way of knowing the rapist was already there... :( Excited for the next one (I'm excited for all of them tbh and am probably gonna say that after every episode haha). I've loved the constant CM uploads. I always look forward to them. I love this show so much... <333
