Oh yeah I dont think he hates her and this is not just about Damon. I just feel like people expect a lot from Bonnie. Like she should drop everything to come help them. And yeah she would do it because she loves them but it just comes off as entitled to me

2021-02-06 21:23:25 +0000 UTCI know it mostly seems like Damon hates Bonnie or treats her bad but I’m pretty sure he admires her alot. I could see a connection between them since season 1 even at the end of season 1 when Damon tells Katherine who he assumed was Elena on the porch he mentioned to her things like doing the good stuff is meant for ppl like Bonnie. In season 2 we see him trying to build a bond with her so I strongly believe he likes her as a person and does respect her but he doesn’t show it. That’s how Damon is lol.
