Oh Anton! Everytime I watch this one I get very emotional. Fun fact Both Paget (who played Emily) and Anton (who played Nathan) appeared on a show together as mother and son called Huff. It only ran for 2 seasons (before this aired) and (I never managed to find a way to watch season 2!) but season 1 was so good! So it's nice to see them working on this for an episode, even if they barely had scenes together!

The fact that he knew he wanted to kill people, and he knew that wasn't good and so he reached out for help. Then the lengths he went to stop himself from killing that girl at the end, the fact that he tried to kill himself rather than give into the urges. And the fact that he left Reid's card on the table as a suicide note! GAH! It's so sad! Reid also breaks my heart this episode. (Though he does most episodes tbh...) He just wanted so badly to help Nathan, and it hurt him so much to know that he was likely to end up killing someone. He's usually the one to relate to the Unsubs or people with that potential and that's always so sad! And for him, his fear of developing Schizophrenia is huge, because his mind is like, the thing he values most about himself. So the thought of his mind failing him must be horrible. I also love the Reid and Garcia moments! Like you said, they're so different in the sense that she's so lively and bubbly while Reid is reserved and all that. But they're also both geniuses. I love seeing them work together, like with Garcia at the computer with Reid telling her what to search for and all that. It's just always fun to see them both being geniuses together. Because while the rest of the team are smart, of course, they're not on that same level with certain things. Like, it often feels like they're in different worlds, ya know? Whereas with the two of them together, they don't really have to hold back, they can just go full on genius. Idk, it's hard to explain. I just enjoy it. Also, there's just something so sweet about their friendship. I mean, Garcia was the first to know about his Mum. (Gideon might've known, but I'm not sure) And she was the one he opened up to about his fear of developing Schizophrenia. I think she's the easiest for people to open up to, in a way. Because of the fact that she's not a profiler. She doesn't read into things in the same way the others do, she just listens and all that. The scene with Emily and Hotch was really good, I agree. Like, Hotch has every right to be suspicious considering the circumstances. Emily coming out of nowhere, coming from a background of politics and all that. But for Emily, that's not what it is at all. She genuinely wants to be on the Team and she hates politics BECAUSE of the fact that she was raised in them. So she had to stand her ground. And I think Hotch liked that she did, I think it made him respect her a bit more. Like, he already knew she was good at the job, and he respected her in that regard as well as others. But having her defend herself would be something he respects in her. I felt for the Mum this episode too. She really didn't wanna accept that there was a possibility her son could hurt anyone, and that's understandable. You're not gonna want to accept those sorts of things about those you love. Or even just people you know tbh. Like, if I found out someone who like, lived down the street from me who I had maybe exchanged hellos with on occasion had killed someone or abused their partner or anything, I wouldn't want to accept it because for one, it's horrible knowing you've met someone like that. But also there's that "Why didn't I see it" and that's gonna be stronger with a parent to their child. And you can see that as soon as she sees the pictures she knows it's all true. She hadn't seen it for herself until that moment, but that made it impossible to hide from. I am wondering if they told her about the whole cadaver thing, with that possibly being part of the cause. Because if they did, she would probably blame herself as it was her medical class and she allowed them into her home and she allowed her son access to that. (It's not her fault, of course! But it's likely she'd think it was...) The scene in the car with Morgan and Reid was so sweet though. Morgan questioning Reid, clearly concerned for him, and Reid feeling able to open up to him. Then the change of subject with the joking about Hotch and all that. Because that is what coworkers tend to do, make fun of their boss. Even if they love their boss, like they CLEARLY do (everyone loves Hotch! I mean, who couldn't?! Haha) it's just natural I think... Plus, it's nice seeing Reid laugh... :) So the drawing... That would be a Matthew Gray Gubler original... Hahaha Also, behind the scenes. Matthew did these videos, they're Unauthorised Documentaries, and he basically acts like a complete asshole in them and they're hilarious. But then he did another one, which was the Authorised Documentary, basically where he was over the top nice in a way to get back at the Unauthorised ones (which he made himself) and Anton was in it. It was hilarious. I'd say you should watch them all, but right now some of them have spoilers in them. But eventually, you should definitely watch them because they're hilarious! (Whether you react to them or not, you should watch them...) Though the Authorised one doesn't have spoilers as far as I remember... So that might be safe for now... :) "He's not completely bald." Yeah, that's what we were all thinking... Haha ;-P That just made me chuckle. Like, yeah. This guy is killing people, but we have to focus on his amount of hair... Hahahaha :) This was one of the episodes I was looking forward to your reaction to. It just breaks my heart. As always, I'm looking forward to the next one. And I am very impatient... Haha I'm kidding. I get that you can't just post loads of episodes every day or anything. :)
