In one of the takes, while Jenson was lying in the car listening to Eye of the Tiger, Jared didn't come in to do his lines. Jenson just kept rolling with it, and that ending is what we ended up with. A beautifully organic display of Jenson Ackles that was so amazing that it simply could not have been excluded from the episode.
