Yeah I understand why Reid targets Emily and it makes sense because he has a more personal relationship with everyone else and since he is less attached to Emily then she can be the punching bag. Its just sad. And I agree that we didnt see other members approach Reid and try and talk to him because we did get reaction from them whenever he spoke, like they could tell something was off. I love Morgan for trying and he did get Reid to share a few things like how affected he was feeling when looking at the pictures. I guess he needed to hear that he is not the only one who has felt like this because Gideon did make it more personal, telling him that he has felt this way too. Also it makes me wonder if they did a medical check up on him after his encounter with Tobias. And if so wouldnt the toxicology report show that he had drugs in his system? Wouldnt that raise a concern?

2021-04-20 11:48:32 +0000 UTCI feel awful for the Unsub this episode. To go through something like that, and have no one believe you (except one person) must be awful. Especially as that other Cop guy was saying about how the rapist was a good kid or whatever, hearing that would be awful! Reid lashing out at Emily makes a lot of sense really. She's still pretty new to the team, he doesn't have as much of an emotional attachment to her as he does with the others yet. So she's the easiest for him to lash out at because he's not as scared of pushing her away as he is with the others. Plus, Hotch and Gideon are his superiors, so lashing out at them could be pretty bad. Emily is the easy target, because she's not yet all that close to him. I love Will! Part of me is always gonna ship JJ and Reid, I just adore them. But Will is amazing and his stuff with JJ is so cute. Jeid is more a What Could've Been thing for me, I would've loved if they'd actually done something with that back when they hinted at it back in S1, but I love them as friends too and it's all great. :) Ethan was great too. (Reid's friend). How he kinda gave Reid a reality check, pointed out that his team probably knew and that he wasn't fooling anyone. He was cool. Wish we could've gotten more of him, because he's never mentioned again... I love that Gideon finally sat down and talked with Reid, and that he admitted to struggling. Because mostly, they've just left him to his struggles. Emily tried talking to him, but she wasn't the best person for the job as she doesn't have that same emotional connection with him as the others. (Kinda like how when Elle was struggling, only Reid reached out. Only this was different as Emily is better with emotions than Reid, it was just bad for a different reason...) But most of the time they've just been sending him concerned looks. Morgan's tried a little too. But not much. You can see that they all know that something is going on with him, and it just hurts that they don't do more to try helping him through it. When Gideon said to Emily "You think I don't know somethings going on with him?" THAT HURT! Because at the time, it's kinda like "Uh, okay. You know somethings going on with him, huh? SO WHY AREN'T YOU HELPING?!" So I appreciate the talk they had at the end of the episode. He probably could've said more, but it seemed to help. As for the whole thing of has he actually taken any of the drugs himself? We never actually see him take them, but it is heavily implied that he DID take them.
