Yes, a consequence. Like if they wanted to bring him back they could have done it later on? But I see your point about Bonnie.

2021-04-22 19:21:13 +0000 UTCI guess I realized they couldn’t kill Bonnie off and not bring Jeremy back cause we’d lose Bonnie entirely since Jeremy is the one who communicates with ghosts. I think Jeremy staying dead would have been better not cause of the acceptance part but because it was a consequence for Elena killing Kol and his whole fricken sire line.

I love everything from Bonnie's side and if she died trying to bring Jeremy back but failed at it I would appreciate it even more. But having Jeremy back this soon after we spent so many episodes watching Elena attempting to reach acceptance is a little disappointing.
