oh yeah, absolutely. Buffy even pointed that out to the council and I totally agree. What I mean is that I don't think he would be so confident to push spike, specially since they were alone? cause when he stood up to Angel it was in a public space. I dont feel he would risk it. But like I also remember that episode The Zeppo and he pretty much stopped that guy from blowing the school all on his lonesome. So Xander can be a lot of things but definitely not a coward. Just dont think hed be so confident if Spike could bite back.
