The music choices were interesting. And I did notice there was a lot of walking so I thought this was a bit of a style that the show was aiming for? It's definitely a fun show with cool characters. I typically don't judge a show by the pilot too harshly because it usually can take a few episodes for some shows to find their footing.

The character of Temperance Brennan is loosely based on books written by Kathy Reichs who is herself a forensic anthropolist. So it is fun to see that in the TV show Brennan is also an author writing about a 'fictional' forensic anthropologist.

There is a little too much exposition about the characters just thrown in like sprinkles. "Hey, we have a murdered girl. Bones parents disapeared when she was fifteen. Lets reconstruct the skull." I also noticed the pilot liked to show people walking everywhere, which I dont remember, and the music score was a... choice :P It will get better. The Bug guy, doctor Hodgins, is actually one of my favorites. But everyone has great personalities and storylines once the show comes together a little bit more.
