The fact that Ian's so forgotten is really frustrating. It's especially annoying that Fiona and Lip don't seem to care or worry. Especially since they both saw him spiraling towards the end of season 3 and then suddenly he was nowhere to be found. You'd think that'd ring some alarm bells.

I’d say one of the first examples of him being left out would be when Frank got sober for that trial thing where he’d get money if he stayed sober for a certain amount of time. Everyone (except Lip, but he was still there) was enjoying his sobriety and having fun and hanging out together, but Ian wasn’t there and no one even mentioned him. And that’s not even the only time. They barely care that he ran away, only Debs really showed any care for the fact that he could be in trouble somewhere. I mean, he could’ve been kidnapped or murdered and the person who did it could’ve been texting them. They just don’t seem to care that he could be in so much danger. Like I’ve said before, they cared more about finding Frank back in S1 than they do about finding Ian now. And Fiona reacted so strongly when Lip dropped outta School, but doesn’t even care that Ian hasn’t been going because he ran away... if it had been anyone else who ran away, she’d be in a panic and they’d all be looking for them and possibly filing a missing persons report. But Ian’s just left to it. Fiona JUST became his legal guardian, and Ian’s run away. That should concern her more... (tbh, she did a lot better with them before she actually became legal guardian... it could just be the timing, with Debbie being a teenager and Carl growing up and Ian going through his own stuff. But she did do a lot better back when she was just their sister who was doing what frank and Monica should’ve been doing...)
