**Possible spoilers about Ian ahead??** If you know what Bipolar looks like, Ian is clearly showing symptoms. I'm not suprised Eliza guessed it so quickly, but I understand how others who are not that well-informed about mental health would assume he's just high on drugs (not to say that he isn't because he most definitely is on something). And I agree that it started before he left! Traumatic events can trigger the onset of mood disorders, so I think it's safe to assume what triggered his manic episode was what happened with Mickey and his dad (and all the painful ramifications of that event). Also, I agree that Cameron does so well in this role. He really shines in seasons 4 and 5.

2021-07-03 09:33:26 +0000 UTCYeah, Lip is PISSED! And I really do not blame him... Mike is such a good guy though! Not only did he not fire her (which is just human decency really, but he literally could've fired her and would've faced no consequences...) but he also transferred her so she wasn't working directly under him, because he didn't want to be tempted to mess things up for her out of anger and heartbreak. He really deserved so much better! (It really should've been Fiona to tell him though...) I also can't feel sorry for Fiona here... She brought it on herself. Ian... Yeah... I'm like, I don't wanna spoil anything, but like, I know you're pretty well versed on mental health and stuff from watching your Criminal Minds reactions... So yeah, idk what to say... But yeah, he definitely seems manic here... Clearly he's not doing too well... And if he is Bipolar, which well, I know for sure whether or not he is, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened BEFORE he left, considering he literally joined the Army under Lip's name, that doesn't seem like something Ian would do while in his right mind... I'll just say this... His storyline from here is really good and Cameron does AMAZING! Also, gotta say, I'm so glad someone finally showed some concern for Ian! (Other than Debbie of course who has been concerned since 4x01...) Like, they had no idea where he was. They literally showed way more concern for Frank when he was missing in 1x02 than they did for Ian. It is so messed up and he really deserved some familial concern... Just sad it took this for anyone (other than Debbie) to actually care... I've been looking forward to your reaction to this episode for a while though. With Ian's return and everything going on with him, wanting to see your first thoughts (and you're the first reactor to immediately guess Bipolar. Everyone else just assumes drugs or just being heartbroken because of Mickey...) and then of course Liam getting into the Cocaine... So excited for your reaction to the rest of the season! :D (I've been rewatching it with my Dad, his first time watching, and we just finished S4 tonight... So yeah...)

2021-07-03 00:33:18 +0000 UTCThings have started to kick off, I've been waiting for this. Fiona has fucked up. Badly. Very very badly. There's no good words to describe how monumentally fucked up this situation is. I love Fiona but that was so irresponsible of her. Devastated probably doesn't even begin to cover what she must be feeling, but what happened was on her. As for Ian, finally he's here!! I don't know what to say for now, though, cause I don't wanna give u spoilers in any sort of way, but yeah he definitely seems like he is having a manic episode. Great episode, I can't wait for the next ones!
