Its gonna be so fun to see you react to this show :) My favorite is of course Criminal Minds, but Bones is really great. And yes, Brennan can be really rude. Usually its not from a place of malice, just poor social skills, but its something that she needs to work on. Which I actually like. Its usually the bad-as FBI man that needs to learn to connect to people and be less clinical, but here Booth is definitly the more grounded one of the two (even if he also have some issues and Brennan has her moments of understanding and compassion). I love the best friend energy between Brennan and Angela and Dr Hodgins dry sarcasm and conspiracy theories :)
