So Gotham seems like a nice place to live, right? Yeah, this show is a teeny bit dark. It is interesting that this show doesn't get reacted to because it really is good and gets even better. I watched this show every week for all 5 seasons and enjoyed it very much. But hey, you get to have the monopoly. I agree with you wholeheartedly about Jada Pinkett Smith. She's doing a bad Eartha Kitt imitation and it doesn't work for me, especially when she tries to be intimidating. She's roughly the size of a 10 year old boy and possesses about the same level of intimidation power. However, she's the only weak link acting wise on the show. The young girl (I can't remember the actress' name) and Robin Lord Taylor (Penguin) are both very good. As a personal aside, I find it amusing that we just finished up the Terminator series, which managed to turn a dweeb from Beverly Hills 90210 into a badass, we're currently watching Fringe which is turning a douchey kid from Dawson's Creek into an infinitely lovable character, and now on Gotham we have a guy from the OC playing Jim Gordon and killing it. What's next, are the Gilmour Girls gonna back as post-Apocalyptic bounty hunters on some future show? LOL
