I agree, a lot of people dismiss BTVS as just another camp horror show but it is so much more. There are so many great real life scenarios portrayed over the 7 seasons it is impossible to list them all. We have seen all of the main cast have grown up in front of our eyes confrontlng multiple events in their lives...they just happen to live on the Hellmouth. I think Oz summed it up perfectly at the end of season 3 when he hold the others that they had survived high school which trumped them surviving an appocolypse! Anyways, looking forward to your season 5 finale reactions...tissues at the ready!

And this was like kind of a calm before the storm, a moment of realization and the thing Buffy needed in order to keep going. Because she kept going back to the moment she gave up and she felt like that was the reason why Dawn would die. But Willow lets her know that its normal to feel that way because she has so much on her shoulders but even then she never stopped fighting. I really loved Willow this episode and how she managed to get Buffy back to herself. The way this show tackles real life situations, emotions, friendships in this supernatural setting always blows my mind

The central theme of Buffy going catatonic with the belief that she has already lost is well handled, and hey who of us havent been there even if for less world-endy reasons. Love the way that Willow takes charge and that everyone goes along with it, Willows magicks and self belief have come a long way is a short amount of time. In Hush she was still struggling to float more that a pencil, but I guess under Tara's tutelage she has mastered her skills. Her friendship and empathy for Buffy really shines through, leading up to her telling Buffy to 'snap out of it'. Also really liked the Willow/Anya scene, I feel like without their past histories they could become good friends. PS you didnt look stoned at all :)
