They're a great trio. And Rossi catching them was great! (The fact that he'd clearly been standing outside listening to them trying is just perfect though!)

2021-07-11 20:09:16 +0000 UTCI really love seeing Rossi work better with the Team this episode! Like you said, last episode it was his first case back and so he wasn't used to it. But as soon as Hotch called him out on it he started making that effort to work together... (Also, just now when I was typing the word "But" I accidentally missed the keys I was trying to hit and typed BAU... It was pretty awesome...) As much as I liked Gideon, I've always felt that Rossi fits better with the Team. I really enjoy his dynamic with each of the other Team members, and I like seeing him slowly start fitting better with them. Like you said, the Hotch and Rossi back and forth moment was really good. And the Rossi and Reid dynamic is always fun! I just love how Reid started out basically idolising him and all that and geeking out over him and his books, and Rossi always looked a mix between amused, fond, confused, freaked out and kinda annoyed... So much fun! (Also... Pipe Cleaner With Eyes. ICONIC!) Morgan being protective of JJ too when they went to the Bar! I really love these pairings this episode. Hotch and Prentiss, Morgan and JJ, Rossi and Reid. Something I love about this show is that they pair different people up with each other. It's not always the same pairings in every episode. Sometimes we'll have Morgan and Reid, JJ and Emily, Hotch and Rossi. Sometimes we'll have Morgan and Prentiss, Reid and Hotch, Rossi and JJ. Other times JJ and Reid, Hotch and Morgan, JJ and Emily. It just changes. And all the pairings work well together. Like, yes, there are some that fans prefer, and even some that the writers seem to prefer, but it's always cool when it's different. :) The Unsub this episode. In a way, I feel for him. Like, I obviously don't, because he was horrible and helped put these poor women through all this torture! But I just can't imagine being in that situation. Having someone constantly telling me I'm nothing without them, being in love with them, constantly being degraded and just made to feel like I don't matter without this person, only for them to kill themselves... I can see that it'd be damaging and I can see why he ended up doing what he did. And for THAT part of it, I feel for him. But then add in all that horrible stuff he did and all that sympathy is just gone... Also... BOBBY!!! YAYYY! I remember when I first watched CM, which wasn't that long ago, I'd already watched basically all of Supernatural (was just waiting for the new final episodes...) and so I started playing a game called "Find the SPN Actors..." It was so fun! Haha (You of course won't know all of them as you haven't finished SPN... But it's fun when you do recognise some of them!) The second I remembered which episode this was, I was just like "YAY! Jim Beaver is in this episode! She'll recognise him!" :)
