Oh I enjoy making fun of shows I love as well, especially Teen Wolf. After so many re-watches, the plot holes don't even bother me anymore. The thing I find most jarring is the background music, and I don't mean the songs they use sometimes, I mean the instrumental music. It's just so over the top and unnecessary most of the time. I'd rather hear the character's dialogue without the music trying to depict the mood for me. I know it's nitpicky but after seeing it so many times, I just focus on random things while watching lol. Now, referring back to a question you asked last episode, I do actually like Theo lmao. Not in the way you'd probably think, though. He's a little bitch and he makes so many wrong choices but like,,, of course he does, he was literally taken by the dread doctors as a child (way before the incident with Tara imo). He's a fake werewolf and he knows it. He obviously has an inferiority complex (hence the usual bravado) so of course the thing he's looking for is power above anything else (in order to escape from the Dread Doctor's hold over him, and to feel better about himself I assume). I think his dynamic with Scott is so interesting. When you think about it, it was so easy for him to lie to Scott (and the pack) in the beginning because,, well,, there was some truth to everything he said. He truly did want to be in the pack and he did look up to Scott (don't forget they were actually friends as kids, probably right before everything with the dread doctors happened). I also thought it was interesting that he screamed (only) for Scott's help when we was being dragged into the ground (hell basically lol). I think it was both because, out of everyone there, Scott would be the most responsive to that kind of emotional plea (and he was if you watch back the scene), and also because I truly think Theo looked up to Scott (Theo's traumatised ass didn't trust anyone, which is also why no one could trust him, but if he had to put his trust into someone, it most likely would be Scott). I think Cody Christian did a great job with the character he was given. Anyway, this was a looong season for TW and even though I don't think it was perfect, it was pretty good. I agree that having Lydia be hurt and out of commission lost its impact over time. There were some things I wish they went about differently, but overall I enjoyed the season. I'm glad you enjoyed it too. Now I'm both sad and excited that we're getting into the final one.

A line I think is really important, yet not focused on really is when Scott and Liam were against Sebastien. Scott said to Liam "We can still save Mason" and Liam replied with "Who's going to save you?" and I think that was really important. Scott definitely feels that his life isn't worth as much as other peoples, and so to have Liam actively put Scott's life ahead of his best friends is pretty big. Like, I'm not saying people never put Scott first, but Scott never puts Scott first and especially at this point in time where the Pack is still kinda coming back from how they fell apart earlier in the Season, especially with Scott and Liam, I feel like it was a pretty big thing. And it kinda parallels episode 10 where Liam was trying to kill Scott in order to try saving Hayden, and here he nearly had to kill Mason to save Scott. Idk, I just feel like it's pretty big and something that Scott needed, for someone to truly put him first. It was such a small moment in the grand scheme of things, but in my opinion, so big and so important. (Also, the moment where Liam faints because of the needle and Scott just runs to him! ADORABLE! Protective Dad! Haha I just love Scott and Liam moments in general, their relationship is just really cute to me, so Father/Son like...) YESSSS! The double-double cross! Deucalion betraying Theo for Scott and Chris betraying Gerard (that bitch!) for Scott. That's the thing about Scott though, he inspires loyalty. Like you said, Scott keeps people around, he takes advantage of everyone's abilities, but not in the way Theo did. Scott takes everyone's ideas into consideration, he uses their abilities, both supernatural and human, and he is grateful to everyone who contributes. Whereas Theo just wants all the power for himself, he didn't want people to help him, he wanted their power and he wanted to do it all himself. And that's the same as Gerard. They both wanted glory and recognition, where Scott just wanted to help people and didn't care about glory or power. That's why people's loyalties lie with Scott, because they know he won't sacrifice them for his own life, power or glory, he'd sacrifice himself, his power and any glory he might get, in order to save anyone, and they recognise that. I know what you mean about Lydia too. When a character is constantly put in this life threatening situations and we're made to think they might die or something, then they're perfectly fine shortly after and get out of the situation pretty easily, it takes away from the suspense we'd otherwise feel because we don't really fear for their life anymore. Like, Allison dying back in S3 gave us actual fear of characters dying, she was a main character, and they actually killed her off, and therefore we weren't sure that the other characters were safe. But when they just keep putting the same character into these situations without any actual consequences, we lose that fear a little as it just becomes normal. And yes, I think Corey was just following them around waiting for them to save Mason so he could appear and do something for him, whether that be catching him like he ended up doing, or just getting him out of there as quickly as possible without anyone seeing them. I love him so much, but his power doesn't really give him an upper hand in a fight, but he is able to get people out of situations. As for people just showing up. Lydia was already at the Sheriff's Station from last episode when she and Stiles were hanging out there. Obviously when Stiles went to Deaton's, she stayed behind. And Kira... Idk, the Skinwalkers probably used some weird Skinwalker magic to send her there... Hahaha I'm glad Hayden finally got the bite and could be a real werewolf. I know a lot of people hate her, but I like her and she and Liam are sweet. And Sebastien seeing Allison in Scott's memories. Such a good moment, even though part of me still wishes they'd made it a surprise that she was an Argent Ancestor, but this was a cool moment and it was nice to have Allison still be able to help even after death... :) And Malia! "I want my family back!" Nooo! I feel so bad for her! So glad she took that bitches power instead of the other way around. (Though it could've been kinda cool to see her having to learn to live without her power... But this was better!)
