I thought she was great! I feel for her and it makes sense for her to want to take control and feel empowered. Yeah, Nick can be overbearing, he was with Juliet at one point, but he means well.

She's not a cop so she's not bound by their rules, which can be an advantage. Personally, I found Nick to be a bit overbearing, but he's never had to be a mentor so I'll cut him a break. Bottom line, they might not have solved this case without her.
